Happy Mardis Gras!
It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a month since we’ve returned from our epic trip to Antarctica, Argentina, and Chile. It’s taken awhile to adjust back to normal living after being pampered on our Viking excursion. But, of course we’re planning more travels.
After returning home, we have been able to download the Viking Farewell video of our trip on Polaris. Viking graciously allows us to share it via YouTube. This video eloquently captures a lot of the Antartica experience in a mere 4.25 minutes. Ramblin’ Jane & John are featured in one still shot looking rather grumpy. (I think this was taken while we were waiting for the weather balloon release while listening to a pitch about future Viking cruises.) We also appear in the back of the group in a few of the New’s Year celebration photos taken on the bow.
