Another Province! Tuesday morning, we broke camp and headed out early (for us), 9:30. We drove out of Fundy Park, down a country road, then hit the main highway. We stopped at the Nova Scotia welcome station which was very nice. I had another round with Verizon about charges. We’ve […]

Another Country

Sunday morning, Jane & I packed up and left Hadley Point Campground around 10 am. The drive through upper Maine was beautiful and although some of the roads were a bit rough, uneventful. Our entry into Canada went smoothly, no one else was at the entry point, we presented our

Back to the Good LIfe

Yesterday (Wednesday), I awoke with a cool Maine breeze gently blowing across my face and looked outside to see a calm campground lake – a pillow with a view! Jane spent a large part of the morning on the phone with State Farm, Ford customer service and the Ford dealership.

One Bummer of a Day

The rain continued through the night and the site was soggy upon awakening. After a leisurely breakfast, we took off around 9:30 excited to get to our next campground near Portland, ME, by mid-afternoon and begin exploring the area. We’re Off

We finally embarked on our adventure around 10:30 am following more scurrying around and more help from Will. Jane decided to appropriately initiate our trip by dropping a table from the overhead storage area on my head before we were even out of our neighborhood! That smarted but after awhile, things

The Day before our Launch

Jeez, all this hoopla in the media about a launch 50 years ago and no mention of our stupendous RV launch tomorrow.  Just kidding, of course. I have vivid boyhood memories of watching Neil and Buzz on a grainy small b&w television. I was amazed and inspired watching them bounce
